The Jet Art Group Shimane (JAGS) is a committee of people who are proposing an exhibition of artworks produced by foreigners living in Shimane.
As a committee we are responsible for the planning and management of this exhibition. We will also be responsible for the advertising and publicity and will conduct regular meetings to discuss the progress and management of the show. Decisions are made by consensus and everyone has equal input into the decisions and direction of the exhibition. Committee members select the work for presentation. The blend of CIRs and ALTs means a chance to bridge the gap between the two positions of the JET Programme and utilise the skills of both. Committee members will have divided responsibility with regards to tasks depending on the JETs area of experience: Japanese skills, computer skills, writing skills, etc.
