In accordance with the rules of the Shimane Art Museum, exhibits which include plants (for example, Japanese flower arrangements) are not allowed in the gallery.
"Changing Perspectives" is an exhibition for people of all ages. This year, we are making an increased effort to promote the exhibition to schools. Please keep this in mind when deciding on the content of your exhibit.
This year "Changing Perspectives" will be transported from Matsue to Hamada. The JAGS committee will be taking every care to ensure the safety of your artwork during transportation, but we are unable to accept any responsibility for any damage that may occur. If you are particularly concerned about the transportation of your exhibit, please contact the JAGS Committee President, Catherine McDonald at shimaneart@hotmail.com.
