＜2005-1-11＞
今日は赤来中の３学期が始まりました。英語授業がなかったので､朝掃除と開式の後で日本語を勉強しました。ＪＥＴプログラム日本語自由コースは大変キャッチアープしなければならないです。新年のおせらのために昼食でおいしいおすしを食べました。午後､家に帰りました。といえば､年休を取ったから。
＜2005-1-12＞
昨日は初めての中学校に行く日だけど､今日､授業が始まりました。３年生の授業で冬休みテスト(Ｅｎｇｌｉｓｈ　Ｅｘｅｒｃｉｓｅと言う)について勉強しました。英語のことわざも紹介しました。と言うのは､アメリカの年末年始のため､希望を言うものです。このアクティビティがとっても面白かったです。英語のことわざと日本のは言葉が違うけどたいていの意味が同じです。

今日はＡＬＴＰＡ面接テストがありました!キンチョウしたけど､がんばりました。昨日は雪の日なので､今朝早く松江に行きました。小さい交通事故を起こしたけど､僕の車だけやダメージがなかったと思うので問題がないです。1時間早さ県庁に出発してしまったから､少しローソンで朝ご飯を食べました。希望者三人が折るけど､ＡＬＴＰＡの仕事は一人だけ選ばなければならないです。僕の面接が良かったと思いました。ですけど､決めるときはまだ２～3週間でまってしまいます。^^;

今日はＥｎｇｌｉｓｈＥｘｅｒｃｉｓｅテストの日でした。ＥＥは郡内中学校の英語試験です。冬休みの後で郡内中学生はとらなければならないです。残念でした。。。誰も勉強しなかったばかりに､たいていの１､２年生は高点を取らなくてしまいました。３年生マスター授業はいつもと同じすばらしかったけど､話すことのため､少し恥ずかしかったので､長い会話をしなかったです。たぶん最も３マがあるとき､上手になると思います。

＜2005-1-11＞
The 3rd term at Akagi JHS started today. There were no English classes, so after morning cleaning and the opening ceremony, I studied Japanese. I have to do a lot of catch-up on the JET Program Self-study Japanese Cousre. We ate tasty sushi for lunch in honor of the new year. I went home in the afternoon because I took a half-day today.

Yesterday was the first day of school, but we had the first classes today. The 9th graders studies for their Winter Break test (called the English Exercise) We also introduced some English proverbs because in America we always make a resolution for the new year. This activity was very interesting. English proverbs and Japanese proverbs have different wording, but the meanings are mostly the same.

Today was the ALT PA interview test! I was nervous, but I did my best. I was snowing yesterday, so I left early for Matsue. I got in a small accident, but it was only my car and there seems to be no damage, so everything is OK. I arrived 1 hour too early at the Prefectural Office, so I ate a small breakfast at Lawson Station. There are 3 applicants for the job, but only one position. I think that my interview went well, but we will have to wait another 2 or 3 weeks until they decide. :’(

This was the English Exercise test day. The EE is an English test taken by all the JHS students in the county. They take it after winter vacation. It’s too bad… No one studied, so most of the 7th and 8th grade students didn’t get high marks. The 9th grade master class was wonderful as always, but the students were shy about talking, so we didn’t have long conversations. Maybe the more we do it, the better they will get at it.
