今日は入学説明会なので、土曜日一日中授業がありました。3年生は元気でした。レポートの書くことを続きました。1年生は命令形を勉強しました。1年生の教科書で他の中学校より遅いけれど、1年生はダンダン分かると思います。来年度の1年生は午後で中学校に行きました。がきもいれば、いい子もいます。来年度、楽しみましょう！

今日は土曜のための代休の日だけれど、5時間目で、谷小学校で教えました。たいていの谷小へ行く日、妻のシグニーとは行くけれど、今日シグニーはアメリカでＪＥＴプログラムの面接から日本に帰っています。明日、飯南町に帰るつもりです。シグニーに会えなくても寂しいです。アイドル時間で家掃除や洗濯や雪かきなどをしていました。先晩、雪をすごく多く降りました。大変！

We had classes all day on Saturday because there was a meeting for the new 7th graders today. The 9th graders were in high spirits. We continued writing reports. The 7th graders studied command form. We are further behind than other JHS in our 7th grade English book, but I think that the 7th graders are beginning to understand more. This afternoon, the new 7th graders came to the JHS. There are some bad students, but there are some good students, too. Let's have fun next year!

Today was a compensatory holiday for Saturday, but I still had to teach at Tani Ele. Most days I go to Tani Ele. Signe comes with me, but today Signe is returning to Japan from America where she had an interview to get into the JET Program. Tomorrow she will be returning to Iinan. I really miss Signe. In my free time today I cleaned the house, did the laundry, shoveled snow, and things like that. Last night's snow was really big. It was a pain in the butt!
