＜2005-04-02＞
今日、エミリーさん、シグニー、と僕は島根県から愛知県まで車で来ました。素敵な妻、シグニー、はすべての運転ができました。明日と朝て、愛知万博で楽しんでいます。火曜日、島根県に帰るつもりです。約6時間運転しました。今、僕達はすごく疲れました。「山善旅館」と言う旅館にとまっています。45年間、この旅館はずっと同じスタイルで存在があり余す。すごいですねえ。

今日、愛知万博に行きました。たくさんかっこいいものを見ました。未来的なロボットやすばらしい建物を見ていきました。いろいろな国のパビリオンもあります。パビリオンの中で外国人は自分の国を紹介しました。アメリカのはベン・フランクリンの歴史についてプレゼンテーションがありました。三菱のパビリオンのテーマは「もしも、月がなかったら」と言いました！

今日も万博に行きました。たくさんおもしろかったことを見ました。大相撲を少し見えました。僕は相撲が好きなので、目の前で見られることがうれしかったです。トヨタのパビリオンがすばらしかったです。i-Unitとi-Footのロボットっぽい私機動力機械を見えました。今日もたくさん行きたい国のパビリオンを訪ねました。ヨルダンやチュニジアや北欧などいつか本当に行きたいです！^_^

今日、僕達の3人は愛知県から赤来町まで帰りました。シグニーはすばらしい運転者ですよ！僕は一日中エミリーさんのニンテンドーDSのゲームを遊びました。ゲームの名前は「アナザーコード ２つの記憶」です。すごくおもしろいゲームですよ。子どものときで楽しんだアドベンチャーゲームがみたいです。アドベンチャーゲームが大好きです。アナザーコードは全部日本語のゲームけれど簡単なのから分かりやすいです。

＜2005-04-02＞
Today Emily, Signe, and I drove from Shimane Prefecture to Aichi Prefecture. Signe, my wonderful wife, drove the entire way. Tomorrow and the next day we are going to the World Expo in Aichi. We are going back to Shimane on Tuesday. It is about a 6 hour trip. We are really tired now. We are staying at a place called the "Yamazen Ryokan." This hotel has stayed the same for the last 45 years. Pretty cool.

We went to the World Expo today. There were lots of really interesting things to see there. We saw futuristic robots, amazing building, and more. Many countries had pavilions as well. Inside the pavilions, people from foreign countries would introduce their country to you. The US Pavilion was all about the history of Ben Franklin. And the Mitsubishi Pavilion's theme was "What if the moon didn't exist?"

We were at the World Expo today as well. We saw many great things. I watched a little bit of a live Sumo Grand Tournament. I like sumo, so seeing it live was a real treat. The Toyota Pavilion was amazing. They showcased their robot-like personal mobility devices the i-Unit and i-Foot. We went to more coutries I would like to visit today, too. Like Jordan, Tunisia, and Northern Europe. I really want to go travelling! :)

We all went back to Akagi today. Signe is an awesome driver! I was playing a game on Emily's Nintendo DS al day long. The name of the game is "Another Code: 2 Memories." It is freakin' awesome! It reminds me of the old adventure games I used to play as a kid. I love adventure games. Another Code is all in Japanese, but it is simple Japanese, so it's easy to understand.
