43 Presidents 43

I finished studying all the US Presidents today. I wrote about all 43 presidents in 44 pages. Now I need a new US-themed subject to study, but I haven't been able to think of one yet. What do you think I should study? I have to start practicing writing essays, but essay writing seems hard for me, so I am a little scared to start. It makes me worry.

Trev -

For essays, just start off easy and do one page drafts. Pick simple questions and work on having a good thesis sentence and good support. Have a beginning, a middle and an end.

Here are some sample topics - write one page on any or each:

Historically, who is your favorite President and why?

Do you agree with Truman's decision to drop the Abomb on Hiroshima?

Who is the most underappreciated President?

Were Kennedy's actions during the Cuban Missile Crisis "a gamble that paid off" or "Smart diplomacy"?

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie roll pop?

have fun!
